Cuts

*All cuts include a shampoo and conditioner, blow dry and style

Women     from 85

My haircuts are very specific to each client. I take into consideration, face shape, colour, lifestyle, and the client’s needs. Since a great haircut can significantly enhance colour (and vice versa), I take the time to be not only technically precise but also give detailed, finishing touches once the hair is dry. This attention to detail is what elevates a cut from good to great.  Vidal Sassoon precision cuts are what I studied and I apply that training to all cuts including straight bobs, A-line bobs. graduated bobs, long layered cuts, medium layered cuts, pixie cuts and short funky cuts, and undercuts.

Men     from 65

My male clients enjoy the relaxed one-on-one environment safe in the knowledge that they will get what they asked for. I am confident in all types of cuts for men including pompadour, textured crop, faux hawk, undercut. I typically work best from an image.

Wig cutting     from 95

It requires immense attention to detail to get it just right and clients deserve a style that has been created just for them, as a result, I work slower when cutting a wig.  They can also relax in the knowledge that they can remove their wig away from prying eyes since my studio offers a one-on-one setting.

Style     from 55

A style is typically included in the price of a cut and can include anything from a blow dry, simple curls, flat ironing to gain a sleek and straight look or hair is set using the drier and rollers. A stand-alone style is to be discussed during the consultation.

Blow dry     from 70

This service is typically included in a cut and incudes a wash, blow dry and hair styling.

Updo     from 85

An updo is a type of hairstyle that involves the hair being up and out of the face, "sweeping the hair" or arranging the hair into an "upstyle" or a “half up / half down” style, usually for a special or formal occasion like a semi-formal, prom, wedding or just a special event. There are many different styles for updos including a sleek, romantic, or "imperfectly messy" look. The hair is kept in place with pins or bands to prevent the hair from falling down. My speciality is bridal / Red Carpet / Messy / Romantic styles.

Colour

Root touch up     from 85

A root touch-up is the application of hair dye to the roots of the hair, to conceal the fact that hair has grown out. This will enable your hair color to not only last longer but also continue to look fresh and beautiful. Root touch-ups are usually needed anywhere between 3 to 5 weeks after your color appointment. I use Loreal Professional hair colour.

Full colour     from 110

A full head of colour is where one colour is applied all over the head from roots to tips, using permanent colour to cover grey and lift virgin hair by up to 3 levels or semi / demi -permanent to change depth, tone and add shine to your hair. I use Loreal Professional hair colour.

Partial highlights     from 130

Partial highlights are usually placed around the face to give off a brighter, face-framing look or half or the top and side sections of your head. Partial highlights are ideal for those seeking a more natural look, as they're designed to lighten the hair the same way the sun would. They are great for a quick brighten-up or root touch-up if you part your hair the same way every day. They are also a good option for an introduction to adding some colour to your hair.

Full highlights     from 160

A full highlight involves highlighting hair in every section of your head. This could be slightly lightening all of your hair or for something more dramatic, going from brunette to blonde. They offer a more dramatic look, as they wrap all around the head (think a perfectly painted balayage, multidimensional full-foil highlights, or a mix of partial and full highlights).

Balayage Highlights     from 180

Balayage is actually a French word meaning ‘sweeping,’ as in to sweep on a hair lightener to create highlights. Balayage is the technique of free-hand painting highlights onto the hair, creating a soft and natural gradation of lightness towards the ends. The result is the look of summers spent at the beach, or the fresh, unintentionally perfect highlights on a child. This natural-looking highlighting technique is not just for blondes but is used on all shades of hair to add a soft, sun-kissed dimension. It is the most popular colour service requested in salons today and its popularity comes from the fact that it is extremely low maintenance and will grow out naturally.

Foilyage Highlights     from 180

Foilyage is a hair technique similar to Balayage where colour or lightener, is applied, using a sweeping technique and painting on your hair and/or by using a teasing and painting technique. Like traditional highlights, sections of hair are wrapped in foil. One of the advantages of doing foilyage, is that lighter levels can be achieved as foil creates heat.

Babylight Highlights     from 120

These are very delicate, white-blonde highlights created using a very fine colour technique to mimic that blonde hue achieved if your hair is naturally lightened in the sun. One of the main attractions of the Babylights techniques is that it can be applied to any hair colour and any length (long/short). They are also a great way to introduce colour if you fancy a change of hair style but don't want anything too drastic. Babylights are very natural, subtle, and most importantly low maintenance. I often mix them in with a full or partial balayage or foilyage to create a softer and more custom look.

Teasylight Highlights     from 120

These highlights can be any type of highlight however, they are teased at the root area in order to create a root shadow. This ensures a more natural look and a softer grow-out without a line of demarcation.

Glossing / Toning     from 45

A hair toner is a product that helps you correct or personalize your colour. It is used to add natural or more visible tones after a professional colour or lightening service.  As a result, it enhances the tonality of your hair. It is most commonly used for shades of blonde hair, but it can be beneficial for brunettes and redheads too. A professional in-salon toner is more pigmented than a silver shampoo or purple shampoo that is used at home. However, these products are excellent products to maintain a bright or cool colour between salon appointments.

Root Shadow     from 45

Root shadowing is a low-maintenance hair color technique in which a darker shade is applied directly to the roots giving a soft, seamless contrast. Root shadowing is often seen with balayage highlights (like blonde, highlighted hair with dark roots) but it can actually be done with any hair color.

Colour Melt

Colour melting is a popular colouring technique that blends strategically placed highlights to achieve maximum effect. The highlights are blended or 'melted' away from the root with a shade almost identical to your natural colour so there are no harsh lines between the different shades.

Colour correction     from 150

A colour correction is fixing the undesirable result of a color gone wrong. It involves either toning out unwanted brassiness, dying your hair darker, or lightening your hair even more to achieve the desired effect. There is no specific formula, and one size definitely does NOT fit all! A consultation is an absolute must to determine a plan of action, and it is important to note that many appointments may be required to get the hair back to a healthy state. The key to ensuring the desired colour along with healthy hair is patience and treatments.

Bridal Party     100 per hour / travel and expenses extra

A bridal party is a group of people chosen by the couple to participate in the wedding. Traditional bridal party roles include Maids of Honours, bridesmaids, flower girls, Mothers, Mother-In-Law of the bride, groomsmen, and ring bearers. I offer an in-depth, FREE consultation with ALL parties preferably on the same day, and ask everyone to bring images of how they would like to have their hair done. I typically work with a makeup artist however, this can be adapted according to the Bride’s wishes.
